Because Kids Grieve is dedicated in helping families cope with the loss of a loved one. We deal primarily with the children; however, the entire family is important in the endeavor of healing a child’s grieving heart.
The Grief Center offers an innovative approach to address Northeast Oklahoma’s need for comprehensive, long-term grief counseling to assist grieving adults and youth as they journey towards improved health and renewed sense of worth in the wake of loss.
Apps can be a great resource for an easy way to find understanding, especially when grieving. This is a list of four apps that may be helpful for grieving adults to understand their own grief, facilitate helping kids deal with theirs, and/or talk to other people dealing with grief too.
Rainbows for All Children is an international, nonprofit organization that trains volunteers at community-based sites to lead structured, age-specific support groups, free of charge, for children 3-18 years old who are grieving the loss of a family member as a result of death, separation/divorce, incarceration, deployment, deportation, significant illness, or another life-altering, traumatic event.
